The warm earthy tones, open fireplace and ceiling lights create a welcoming ambiance for dining and drinking with friends and family. Guests can enjoy meals at the dining table with food freshly prepared from the fully-equipped kitchen designed for a care-free self-catering holiday.

A spiral staircase leads to the first floor living room which boasts direct lake views and a sun drenched spacious living area. An inviting fireplace and lounge area with sofas and a wall-hanging TV provide a relaxing space for families and large groups. Spectacular views to the lake and lush snow-capped mountains offer tranquility and an open living space.
The sofa bed in the lounge area can sleep an extra two adults or children, which could bring the total sleeping capacity to ten people.

The master bedroom is situated on the middle level, adjacent to the lounge. With ample storage space and a mirrored wardrobe, this room with ensuite includes all modern amenities in this Italian rustic holiday villa. The room has a striking floor to ceiling window overlooking the lake, and a terracotta tiled floor.
Kids bedroom
For young children, this bedroom is adjacent to the master bedroom, and shares the same bathroom. When not used as a kid's bedroom this space provides an attractive seating or storage area on the main level. The bed is quickly converted to a double bed by sliding out the base.
Upstairs (two) bedrooms
The wide staircase leads to the lake-view sleeping accommodation which is flexible and family-friendly. The two bedrooms each have double beds. The larger room has a sun-roof for star-gazing at night. These loft-style bedrooms with sloping beamed roofs are also ideal for children.

Outdoor spaces
Lakeview garden
From the kitchen and dining room a door leads to the lake-view garden terrace which features a pretty jasmine-lined, vine-covered awning with alfresco dining area. With a spectacular and breathtaking backdrop, guests can enjoy memorable dinner parties in true Italian style!
Outdoor dining
Rhododendron-lined steps to the side of the house lead to a third informal dining area with a stone built BBQ and pizza oven. An alternative dining area is on the terrace level of the property, with an outdoor dining area and gazebo.
Outdoor spaces and terraces
The upper level is a large 100 square metre space with a 10 metre swimming pool and sun loungers. This area is ideal for children to run around and play.
This Como area Italian rustic holiday villa has extraordinary elevated terraces overlooking the pool area and lake views. These were established centuries ago and were originally used for growing grapes.
The terrace levels, dotted with wildflowers in the warmer months, afford unparalled views from sun loungers, the gazebo or a relaxing swing chair.
Pool
The 10 metre pool is open between May and October.
Parking and access
Convenient off-street parking is situated as guests approach the property from the road. ‎Like many hillside properties in this region, the access road to Casa Cima is very steep and narrow. We don't recommend you attempt to drive it if you have a big car / van, or if your car is not powerful. Would-be rally-car drivers will love it though. There is a carpark at the bottom of the hill, around a 10 minute walk up (or 5 down) to the property. There is also parking for 4 cars at the property.
